At some point in time, I'm sure you've heard of reverse dieting. Reverse dieting is touted as a way to "train your metabolism" to be able to eat more food without gaining weight. It originally started out in the bodybuilding/weightlifting sphere of social media as physique competitors were searching for a way to recover from competitions. Recently, reverse dieting has started to sneak its way into the anti-diet/recovery space. So today we'll be talking about what reverse dieting actually is, the science behind it, whether or not it even belongs in the recovery space, and even the possible dangers of reverse dieting.
